Important notice for USA customers.

Due to the end of August 2025 imposed 15% Import Duties (tariffs), package mailing to the US was interrupted. Beginning November package traffic has resumed.

Besides the normal/old/unchanged postage fees US customers now pay 15% import duties of order value PLUS a Merchandise Handling Fee of USD 34 per shipment. ALL COSTS OF YOUR TOTAL PURCHASE are invoiced by the seller who in turn is charged by the mailing company (post office) for the mailing cost and for the Import Duties and Merchandise Handling Fee. You can check this at TARIFFS.FLEXPORT.COM.

The Harmonized Tariff Schedule code for scale models is 9503000090.

As far as I know Dutch PostNL remains the cheapest way of mailing to the US.

In over 40 years of ordering from the USA I have NEVER had a problem or lost a package and I have NEVER asked for insurance and ALWAYS for  USPS First Class International, even for my brass models.  Maybe the package takes some extra time but it gets there. Are we in a hurry? It’s a hobby……. Unfortunately I have no influence over the rates of PostNL: if they change I have to go along. They are the cheapest and reliable. Paid and delivered items cannot be returned.

Damaged items (which I never had in all those years) I will replace free of charge (including postage and packaging ) but you have to return the damaged item to me at your expense beforehand.
